Sandakphu Phalut trek is the one of the treks that can offer you that, the other being the Singalila Pass Trek. This trek also offers a walk through the Rhododendron forest in the Himalayas. Rhododendrons bloom during late March to early June at varied altitudes, painting the landscape red, pink, yellow, blue and white.This trek is also famous for the magical formation the Sleeping Budha where Kanchendzonga remains the center of it.

Bagdogra, which is about 10 kms(~6 miles) from Siliguri, is the nearest flying destination. Flights are available via Kolkata/Delhi/Mumbai. By road, one can reach Siliguri/ NJP/ Bagdogra from Kolkata. Roads are well connected but the condition may differ based on the season; majorly after the rainy season. NJP to Maneybhanjan/Jaubhari is 4-5 hrs. Bagdogra airport is 30-45 mins to Siliguri/NJP. Shared cabs are available to from NJP/Siliguri/Darjeeling.Jaubhari in West Bengal is about 2.5 km after Maneybhanjan. While returning back Bharyang/Sepi to Siliguri or Darjeeling cabs are available via Jorthang. Till Jorthang it takes 3 hrs and another 3 hrs from Jorthang. It is advisable to plan your tickets from Siliguri after 8-9 Pm if it is on same day. NJP (New Jalpaiguri) is the nearest railhead from Sikkim. Trains are well connected via Kolkata – HWH (Howrah railway station) and New Delhi.

It is mandatory for all passengers arriving at West Bengal from the states of Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana after 12:00 pm on February 27, 2021, to carry their negative RT-PCR test report; test for which should have been conducted within 72 hrs of departure. West Bengal does not quarantine asymptomatic passengers & allow them to go to Sikkim. There are screening facilities at the Sikkim border. After screening at the border, even asymptomatic passengers are taken for quarantine for 14 days; for the first 7 days, they will be put in Institutional Quarantine (Govt. facilities are free; Pvt. Accommodation will be on payment basis) and for the next 7 days, they will have to be quarantined at home. If a person is on an official duty and is tested negative for COVID-19, he/she will be allowed to perform the duty & return without any restrictions. It is mandatory for all passengers arriving into West Bengal to fill-up and submit the declaration form using the Sandhane App developed by H&FW Department of West Bengal. They did cover the pickup and drop in their expense, along with homestay for a small group and mule expenses for the trek. It was indeed an excellent choice. They ask their customer to write great things about them and in return promise to give... tshirts but that too they fail to giveHere's my review after doing chadar trek with Rockyfeet Arrangements were ok but biggest disappointment is it has been 8 months and still they haven't given the trek certificate. Guys choose your trek company wisely I am sure other companies provide trek completion certificate on the last day of trek and now regret choosing Rockyfeetread more
