Himalayan Trek Packing List

Himalayan trek Packing list

A comprehensive Himalayan Trek Packing List is an important concern for many trekkers. Here, we try to develop a logical approach to finding it.

The weight of a backpack is inversely proportioned with the experience of outdoor. Keeping your backpack light is an art.  It begins with the question – ‘what to pack?’.  And the answer to the question is absolutely related to – ‘when and where are you heading to?’. Even every different region of Himalaya has its own climatic patterns based on the seasons. Your backpacking checklist should change too with the pattern.  Understanding of the expected weather and its uncertainty is the key of your packing.

Apart from a general list of items for your outdoor camp life & trek specific gears based on seriousness and safty;  we should keep 3 major factors of climate in consideration –

About the Author

Boro Now it is more than a decade I am exploring Himalaya and other landscapes of the subcontinents. I don't leave a single chance of adventure that comes on my way and allows me to stay closer to mother nature. I played with air, earth, and water. But climbing up through the high white mountain is my favorite one. I am curious about almost everything and anything that passes by my travel . And I keep studying about them. I am passionate and shy too on my venture with photography. It is a way, I express myself. I enjoy my role as an Exploration Leader at RockyFeet and thankful to be a part of Himalayan Conservation Actions of the society.
